What is a Referral Program Flow?
A Referral Program Flow automatically sends messages to customers inviting them to share your store with friends and family.
When they refer someone who makes a purchase, both the referrer and the new customer can get rewards like discounts or special offers.
How Does It Help?
This flow helps you:
Gain new customers through word-of-mouth recommendations
Reward loyal customers for spreading the word about your store
Grow your customer base with trusted referrals
Increase sales through incentivized sharing
How to Create a Referral Program Flow
There are two ways to get started:
1. From the Flow Home Screen
Scroll down to find the Referral Program Flow Template
Click Create
2. From the Create Menu
Click + Create Flow
Select Use a Flow Template
Choose Referral Program Flow
Click Create Flow
Flow Properties
Using the flow properties shown in the image below is best for a Referral Program Flow:
Customize Your Flow (Optional)
Once you create the flow, you'll see the Flow Builder screen.
To make changes:
Click Edit Flow at the top
Customize the messages, timing, or settings as needed
Note: Editing a flow creates a new version of it. Go to "See Version History" from the three dots on top to activate the correct version.

To use it as-is:
Simply Turn On your flow, or
Schedule it to start later
Important Note:
Make sure the Compliance setting for this flow is set to "Promotional" to avoid carrier filtering and potential legal issues.
