Create a Customer Winback Flow from a Template

Set up an automated flow to reconnect with past customers who haven't purchased from your store in a while.

What is a Customer Winback Flow?

A Customer Winback Flow automatically sends messages to customers who used to buy from you but haven't made a purchase recently. It's a friendly way to remind them about your store and encourage them to come back and shop again.


How Does it Help?

This flow helps you:

  • Re-engage customers who haven't bought in a while

  • Bring back previous shoppers to your store

  • Recover lost revenue from inactive customers

  • Build lasting relationships with your customer base


How to Create a Customer Winback Flow

There are two ways to get started:


1. From the Flow Home Screen

  • Scroll down to find the Customer Winback Flow Template

  • Click Create

2. From the Create Menu

  • Click + Create Flow

  • Select Use a Flow Template

  • Choose Customer Winback Flow

  • Click Create Flow


Flow Properties

Using the properties shown in the image below are best for a Customer Winback Flow:


Customize Your Flow (Optional)

Once you create the flow, you'll see the Flow Builder screen.


To make changes:

  • Click Edit Flow at the top

  • Customize the messages, timing, or settings as needed

Note: Editing a flow creates a new version of it. Go to "See Version History" from the three dots on top to activate the correct version.

To use it as-is:

  • Simply Turn On your flow, or

  • Schedule it to start later

Important Note: The compliance for this flow must be set to "Promotional" to ensure easy delivery of messages by carriers.
