Carrier Guidelines: Adhering to carrier guidelines, abandoned cart flows can only contain one message, and that message should send within 48 hours of the trigger event or property (Product Added to Cart).
What is an Abandoned Cart Flow?
An Abandoned Cart Flow automatically sends messages to customers who added items to their cart but left your store without buying.
It gently reminds them about the products they were interested in and encourages them to complete their purchase.
How Does It Help?
This flow helps you:
Recover lost sales from shoppers who didn't complete checkout
Remind customers about products they wanted
Bring shoppers back to your store
Increase your overall revenue
How to Create an Abandoned Cart Flow
There are two ways to get started:
1. From the Flow Home Screen
Scroll down to find the Abandoned Cart Flow Template
Click Create
2. From the Create Menu
Click + Create Flow
Select Use a Flow Template
Choose Abandoned Cart Flow
Click Create Flow
Flow Properties
Using the properties shown in the image below are best for an Abandoned Cart Flow:
Customize Your Flow (Optional)
Once you create the flow, you'll see the Flow Builder screen.
To make changes:
Click Edit Flow at the top
Customize the flow properties, messages, or flow actions as needed
Note: Editing a flow creates a new version of it. Go to "See Version History" from the three dots on top to activate the correct version.

Schedule it to start later
Notes:
Compliance Setting: The compliance for this flow must be set to "Promotional" to ensure easy delivery of messages by carriers.
