So you've exported your SMS Subscriber list from your previous SMS Platform and you're ready to upload to TxtCart and begin your SMS Marketing program. Below we'll go over the steps needed to get up and running.
Pssst! If you have SMS subscribers in your Shopify store, they'll automatically sync to TxtCart when you first open the app.
Step 1:
Navigate to Audience > List & Segments tab> Click "+ Create New" at the top right section of your screen > Click "Create List"
Step 2:
Select New List and give your list a name
Step 3:
Fill out the required compliance information as it relates to Service and Subscriber Collection Tool as well as any relevant screenshots
Step 4:
Upload your .CSV file and check off the certification
Step 5:
Reach out to our support team if you don't see your list uploaded to your account within 2-4 days of submission.
Important Note:
Please ensure to upload your subscriber list without any errors. Before importing, verify that:
All subscribers have opted-in for SMS - Only include contacts who have given explicit consent to receive SMS messages
The list contains phone numbers - Each subscriber record must include a valid phone number
First and last names are included - The list should contain both first and last name fields for each subscriber
Following these requirements will ensure a successful import and compliance with SMS marketing regulations.
