When migrating your SMS from Klaviyo to TxtCart, your shop can upload previously collected subscriber contact lists so that you don't miss a beat coming to TxtCart. Follow the instructions below to ensure you only upload those who are actively subscribed to your SMS list.
Exporting your Active subscriber list from Klaviyo
Step 1: From your Klaviyo dashboard, select Lists & Segments under Audience on the left-hand nav menu
Step 2: Select Create List/Segment in the upper right corner. Then choose Segment
Step 3: Name your segment. Be sure to give it a name that will allow you to easily identify it among your other lists and segments when exporting. Example: Klaviyo_Export_TxtCart
Step 4: Under Definition, select the dropdown and choose What someone has done (or not done)
Step 5: Next to Has choose Subscribed to SMS Marketing. Then, select at least once and overall time as your following values
Step 6: Select the +AND connector. Then, click the Select a condition...dropdown and choose What someone has done (or not done)
Step 7: Next to Has choose Unsubscribed from SMS Marketing. In the next dropdown to the right, select zero times and overall time as your following values. Note: At this time, take a screenshot of the criteria you've used. Our compliance team will request it from you later.
Step 8: Select Create Segment>> in the bottom right-hand corner of the editor
Step 9: Once the segment is created, select Manage Segment in the upper right-hand corner, then choose Export Segment to CSV
Step 10: Select the checkbox next to Property to select all. Once all of the properties are selected, choose Start Export in the upper right-hand corner
Step 11: Once the export is complete, you can find this segment in your computer's Downloads files
Exporting your Inactive subscriber list from Klaviyo
Step 1: From your Klaviyo dashboard, select Lists & Segments under Audience on the left-hand nav menu
Step 2: Select Create List/Segment in the upper right corner. Then choose Segment
Step 3: Name your segment. Be sure to give it a name that will allow you to easily identify it among your other lists and segments when exporting. Example: Klaviyo_Inactive_Export_TxtCart
Step 4: Under Definition, select the dropdown and choose What someone has done (or not done)
Step 5: Next to Has choose Unsubscribed from SMS Marketing. Then, select at least once and overall time as your following values
Step 6: Select Create Segment in the bottom right-hand corner of the editor
Step 7: Once the segment is created, select Manage Segment in the upper right-hand corner, then choose Export Segment to CSV
Step 8: Select the checkbox next to Property to select all. Once all of the properties are selected, choose Start Export in the upper right-hand corner
Step 9: Once the export is complete, you can find this segment in your computer's Downloads files
Importing your subscriber list to TxtCart
Step 1: Head to your TxtCart account > Campaigns > Subscribers > List Import Tool
Step 2: Fill out the required fields in the modal. Attach your .csv from Attentive at the end of the form.
Step 3: TxtCart's compliance team will review your list and upload it to your account within 30 minutes to 2 hours typically. Once uploaded, you will be notified in the app and through email and see your subscribers reflected in your dashboard.
Pro Tip: Be sure to copy over as many flows, automation, and campaigns as you can prior to exporting and disconnecting your previous SMS platform.
