How do you calculate the sales from TxtCart?
TxtCart uses a configurable attribution window (1-7 days, default 7 days) to track sales generated through our SMS marketing platform. Here's everything you need to know about how we attribute sales to your Cart Recovery Automation.
How Sales Attribution Works
A sale is credited to TxtCart when any of these actions occur:
Link Click Attribution (7 days): When a customer clicks on a link in your SMS message and makes a purchase within the configured attribution window.
Discount Code Usage (7 days): When a customer uses a discount code that was provided in your SMS message.
Message View Attribution (1-7 days): When a customer makes a purchase after receiving and reading your SMS reminder.
Attribution Window Details
View Window: Adjustable from 1-7 days (default is 7 days) - can be modified from Settings > Messaging Tab.
Click/Discount Window: Fixed at 7 days and cannot be modified.
Any purchase made within the respective timeframes of either clicking a link, using a discount code, or viewing a message can be attributed to your Cart Recovery Automation.
You have flexibility to optimize your view attribution tracking based on your business needs.
Important Note:
Both types of attribution are still handled automatically by the system, but only the view window offers customization options.
