What is Send Message?
Send Message is a flow action that lets you text your subscribers automatically. You can personalize the message with customer details like their name, product info, or shop name and include short links with UTM tracking and discounts.
It's perfect for sending updates, offers, reminders, or any message you want to automate.
How to Use Send Message
Step 1: Drag the Send Message action into your flow where you want the text to go out or click (+) sign in your Flow Builder.
Step 2: Give your message a Message Name so you can identify it later.
Step 3: Step 3: Write your message in the text box. Use Dynamic Fields ({}) to add store name, customer name, discounts, etc.
Step 4: Preview your message on the right to see how it looks on a phone.
Step 5: Click Save or continue building your flow.

Dynamic Fields
Dynamic Fields let you personalize your messages by automatically inserting customer and store information into your texts. They are placeholders that get replaced with real data when the message is sent. For example, {{Subscriber.First.Name}} becomes "John" when sent to a subscriber named John.
How to Use Dynamic Fields
Step 1: Click the Dynamic Fields icon ({}) in the message editor toolbar.
Step 2: A pop-up screen will appear with a dropdown containing categories on the left like: Subscriber, Shop, Agent, Product, and Variant.
Step 3: Select a category to see available fields (e.g., click "Subscriber" to see First Name, Last Name, Email, etc.).
Step 4: Click on the field you want to insert. It will appear in your message as a purple tag.
Step 5: The field will automatically fill with real data when the message sends.
Note: The fields you can use depend on the trigger or event that starts your flow.
Discount Codes
Discount Codes let you automatically insert personalized discount offers into your messages to encourage purchases and reward customers.
How to Use Discount Codes
Step 1: Click the Discount Code icon (%) in the message editor toolbar.
Step 2: A popup will appear with three discount options:
Product Discount - Discount specific products or collections
Order Discount - Discount the total order amount
Free Shipping - Offer free shipping on an order
Step 3: Select the discount type that matches your offer.
Step 4: Configure your discount settings (amount, conditions, etc.).
Step 5: The discount code will be inserted into your message and automatically applied when sent.

Short Links
Short Links let you add trackable, shortened URLs to your messages that save character space and help you monitor customer engagement through click tracking.
How to Use Short Links
Step 1: Click the Short Link icon (🔗) in the message editor toolbar.
Step 2: A pop-up will appear with a "Select Link Type" dropdown.
Step 3: Choose the link type based on your flow:
Product Link - Links to a specific product page
Discount Link - Links to checkout with a discount applied
Abandoned Checkout - Links back to the customer's abandoned checkout
Step 4: Configure link parameters (e.g., utm_source, utm_medium) to track campaign performance. You can add custom parameters by clicking "+ Add Parameter".
Step 5: Click Add to insert the short link into your message.
Note: The link types available depend on the trigger or event that starts your flow.

Error Messages, Warnings, and Troubleshooting
1. ⚠️ "Your message isn't set up for click tracking."
This warning appears when your message doesn't include a trackable link.
What to do:
If you want to track clicks, add a short link using the shortlink tool (🔗)
If you don't need tracking, you can ignore this warning and send anyway
2. Red Error Icon on Flow Action
When you see a red circle on a Send Message / any other Flow action, it means there's an error that needs fixing.
What to do:
Click on the action with the red icon
Read the error message inside
Fix the issue (usually missing required fields or invalid settings)
The red icon will disappear once the error is resolved
