What Is the Flow Summary Screen?

The Flow Summary Screen shows you everything about a single flow's performance. It's like a detailed report card for one specific Flow.

You can see how many messages were sent, how many people clicked, how much revenue it generated, and view each message's individual performance.

How to Access the Flow Summary Screen

Step 1: Go to the Flows section in your TxtCart dashboard (under "Messaging" in the left sidebar).

Step 2: Find the flow you want to review in the flows list.

Step 3: Click on the flow name (the blue clickable text in the Name column).

You'll now see the complete Flow Summary Screen for that specific flow.

Understanding the Top Metrics

At the top of the Flow Summary Screen, you'll see four key performance cards:

Total Revenue – The total dollar amount generated by this flow.

Total Orders – Number of purchases made after customers received this flow.

Delivered Messages – Total number of messages successfully delivered to recipients.

CTR (Click-Through Rate) – Percentage of recipients who clicked on links in your messages.

Understanding the Performance Breakdown

Below the top metrics, you'll see three additional stats:

Sent – Total number of messages sent through this flow, shown as a number and percentage.

Clicked – Number of times recipients clicked on links, shown as a number and percentage.

Ordered – Number of purchases made after receiving the flow, shown as a number and percentage.

Message-Level Performance Table

The main section shows a detailed breakdown of each message in your flow:

Table Columns

Delay – How long the flow waits before sending this message (e.g., "1 day", "3 days", or "-" for immediate).

Message – Preview of the message content, including personalization tags like:

  • Subscriber.First.Name – Customer's first name

  • Shop.Name – Your store name

  • Discount.Value – Discount amount

  • Discount.Code – Coupon code

  • Shop.Domain – Your store URL

Image – Shows "---" if no image is included, or displays an icon if the message contains an image/GIF.

Sent – Number of times this specific message was sent (with "Unsub Rate" below).

Clicked – Number of clicks on this message (with "CTR" below).

Ordered – Number of orders from this message (with "CVR" - conversion rate below).

Revenue – Revenue generated by this message (with "EPM" - earnings per message below).

Flow Properties Section

At the bottom of the screen, you'll see a summary of your flow settings:

Once per subscriber – Shows if subscribers can enter this flow multiple times or just once.

Flow Trigger – The action that starts the flow (e.g., "Subscriber Joined").

Cancellation Trigger – The action that removes subscribers from the flow (e.g., "Order Placed").

Trigger Filter – Any conditions that must be met for the flow to trigger.

Subscriber Filter – Any conditions that determine which subscribers can receive the flow.

Available Options

1. Edit Button (Top Right)

Click the blue "Edit" button to open the flow builder where you can:

  • Modify message content

  • Change timing and delays

  • Update triggers and filters

  • Add or remove messages

2. Flow Status Toggle

  • On (Active - Blue) – The Flow is active and sending messages to subscribers who meet the trigger conditions.

  • Off (Inactive - Gray) – The Flow is paused and won't send any messages until you turn it back on.

This is useful when you want to temporarily pause a flow without deleting it, or quickly reactivate it when you're ready.

3. Back to Flows

Click "← Back to Flows" at the top left to return to the main Flows Home Screen.

Options Menu (Top Right)

Click the three-dotted button (•••) inside Flow Builder next to the Edit Flow button to access:

Rename – Change the name of your flow.

See Version History – View all previous versions of this flow and choose the one that should be active, as well as the last time each flow was edited.

Understanding Flow Versioning

Flow versioning helps you track changes and manage different iterations of your flow over time.

What Is Versioning?

Active Flows cannot be edited. If you need to edit an active Flow, a new version must be created. To make it easier for you, TxtCart creates a new version of a flow automatically when you edit an active Flow. This allows you to:

  • Keep a history of all changes made to the flow

  • Compare performance between different versions

  • Understand what changes improved or hurt performance

How to View Version History

Step 1: Click the three-dotted option menu in the top right corner.

Step 2: Select "See Version History" from the dropdown.

Step 3: Review the list of all previous versions with their activation dates and performance metrics.

Step 4: Click on three-dots (•••) to activate or edit any version.

Why Versioning Matters

Versioning ensures that:

  • Subscribers already in a flow complete the version they started with

  • New subscribers get the latest version

  • You can track which changes made your flow more effective
