Overview

The TxtCart billing page provides a comprehensive overview of your account's billing information, current usage, and invoice history. Access it by navigating to SettingsBilling in your TxtCart dashboard.

Current Plan & Usage Overview

Your billing page displays key information at the top:

  • Current Plan: Shows your active subscription with monthly cost and associated fees

  • Management Options: View per message rates, manage plans, or cancel your subscription

  • Usage Period: Current billing cycle dates with total amount for the period

Understanding Your Charges

Your billing breakdown includes several types of charges:

Fixed Monthly Costs:

  • Platform Fee - Your monthly subscription fee for TxtCart

  • Service Fees - Charges for phone number maintenance (may appear multiple times if you have multiple numbers)

Variable Usage Costs:

  • Carrier Fees - Per-message fees charged by SMS/MMS carriers, varying based on message volume and carrier rates

  • Transaction Fee - Fee on automation-generated revenue, calculated based on your SMS sales performance

The Subtotal shows all charges combined, giving you your complete billing amount for the period.

Past Invoices & History

The invoice history section shows:

  • Billing Period: Date range covered by each invoice

  • Status: Current invoice status (open, paid, pending)

  • Transaction Types: Summary including Platform Fee, TxtCart Service Fee, Carrier Fees, TxtCart Transaction Fee, and Campaign Costs

  • Amount: Total invoice amount with action options to view, download, or manage

Managing Your Plans

Note: If you plan to stick around for a while, consider an annual commitment. You will save 17% or net affective, only pay for 10 months instead of 12. Pretty neat.

Best Practices:

  • Check your billing page monthly to stay informed about usage trends

  • Monitor the relationship between costs and recovered sales for performance insights

  • Adjust your plan as your business needs change to ensure optimal value
