What is the AND / OR Rule?
AND / OR rules let you combine multiple Trigger Filters or Subscriber Filters together in one flow.
They decide whether all conditions need to match or just one, giving you full control over who enters your flow.
What's the Difference?
Rule | What It Means | Example |
AND | ALL conditions must be true | Cart value is over $50 AND subscriber is from the US |
OR | ANY ONE condition is enough | Cart has shoes OR cart has bags |
When Should You Use It?
Use AND when you want to be very specific:
Target a narrow, exact group of subscribers
Multiple conditions all need to match at the same time
Use OR when you want to cast a wider net:
Any one of several conditions is good enough
You want more subscribers to qualify for the flow
Where Can You Use AND / OR Rules?
AND / OR rules are available in two places inside your flow:
Trigger Filters — Controls when the flow fires based on the event
Subscriber Filters — Controls who enters the flow based on their profile
How to Add AND / OR Rules
Step 1: Inside your Flow Builder in TxtCart
Step 2: Go to Trigger Filters or Subscriber Filters under Flow Properties
Step 3: Add your first filter condition
Step 4: Click "AND" to add another condition that must also be true

Click "OR" to add an alternative condition (either one can be true)
Step 5: Keep adding as many conditions as you need
Step 6: Save your flow
Pro Tip: You can mix AND + OR rules together for super targeted flows! Start simple though, one or two conditions is usually all you need.
