TxtCart makes it effortless for stores to include a cart link in their flows, streamlining the path to purchase for your customers.
Stores can embed abandoned cart links in flows triggered by:
Product Added to Cart: When a customer adds items to their cart but doesn't complete checkout, automatically send them a direct link to pick up where they left off.
What's an Abandoned Cart Link?
An abandoned cart link is a special URL that takes your customers directly back to their shopping cart so they can complete their purchase.
How It Works
When a customer adds items to their cart but doesn't complete their purchase, you can send them a text message with a link that brings them right back to where they left off, no need to search for products again or add them to their shopping cart.
How to Add an Abandoned Cart Link to Your Flow Message
Step 1: Open your Flow Builder in TxtCart.
Step 2: Write your message where you want the cart link to appear.
Step 3: Click the Link Icon in the message editor.
Step 4: From the Short Links dropdown, select Abandoned Cart.
Step 5: Save your message.
Step 6: Click the three dots at the top, then select See version history.
Step 7: Activate the new version.
That's it! TxtCart will automatically add the abandoned cart link when the message is sent to your customer.
Important Note:
If you send yourself a Test Message, the abandoned cart link might contain placeholder text. Don't worry, this is normal!
Test messages aren't triggered by real shopping activity, so there's no actual cart to link to. When a real customer abandons their cart, they'll receive a working link that takes them straight to checkout.
