Why do we need collaborator access?

1. What is collaborator access?

Collaborator access allows you to grant access to your admin portal to a certified Shopify Partner directly from their account, and limit their permissions by managing what they can and cannot see.

2. Why do we need collaborator access?

We request collaborator access to effectively support you and maximize your TxtCart performance. This access allows our team to:

  • Resolve issues quickly - We can see exactly what you're experiencing and troubleshoot problems faster

  • Proactively optimize your results - We can review your setup, identify opportunities, and ensure your SMS strategy is driving maximum revenue

  • Access necessary data - Some data needed to automate cart recovery and optimize performance isn't available through Shopify's API

We only request the minimum access needed to provide comprehensive support and help you get the most out of TxtCart, without exposing any unnecessary information.

3. What are the permissions that we usually request?

  • Orders - By granting us access to your orders, we can see much more than just the raw data of the order, but more metadata that helps us, such as customer communication, order lifecycle, fraud detection, abandoned status, update a response, and more.

  • Customers - By granting us access to your customers' profiles, we can identify SMS subscribers, export your subscriber data for you, and help you import subscribers to get started with SMS Marketing Campaigns.

  • Marketing - We are a marketing sales channel app and need to see the attributed revenue relevant to SMS vs other channels

  • Discounts - We pass along discounts to customers automatically to recover abandoned carts. This will assist with any reporting, settings or customizations needed to be made to our custom discounts.

  • Manage and Install Apps and Channels - By granting us access to your installed Shopify apps, we can reproduce bugs you might face and debug them, to promise a smooth experience with our app as well as assist with personalized onboarding.

  • Manage Settings, Policies and App Billing - To allow our team to quickly set you up with any issues you may have with respect to onboarding, configuring settings or policies.

Note:
This option will not count against your store’s staff limit and will only grant us minimal permission to manage your Shopify SMS Marketing.
