What is Link Clicked?
Link Clicked monitors every link click in your text messages in real time.
The moment a subscriber clicks, you can automatically trigger smart follow-up actions like sending a personalized message, enrolling them in another Flow, tagging them, or launching an A/B test to optimize performance.
Why Use Link Clicked?
Link Clicked helps you:
Identify Engaged Subscribers – Know who's interested based on who clicks your links
Send Targeted Follow-Ups – Automatically message people who showed interest by clicking
Create Smart Journeys – Move engaged customers to different Flows based on what they clicked
Track Interest – See which links get the most clicks and engagement
How to Add Link Clicked Listener
Step 1: Open your Flow Builder
Step 2: First, make sure you have a Send Message action with a link in it
Your message must contain a clickable link (product URL, discount link, etc.)
Step 3: In the left sidebar under LISTENERS, find Link Clicked
Step 4: Drag and drop Link Clicked or hit (+) sign to add below your message in the Flow
Step 5: Connect actions to the Link Clicked listener:
Add a Send Message action to send a follow-up
Or add Add to Flow to move them to another Flow
Or add any other action from the ACTIONS menu
Step 6: The Link Clicked path will only trigger for subscribers who click the link
Step 7: Save your Flow
How It Works
Here's what happens when you add Link Clicked to your Flow:
When a subscriber reaches your message:
They receive your message with a link
TxtCart waits to see if they click the link
The Flow splits into two branches:
Clicked branch → For subscribers who click the link
Not Clicked branch → For subscribers who don't click the link
This lets you send different messages or actions to engaged subscribers (who clicked) vs. non-engaged subscribers (who didn't click).
Important Notes:
Link Clicked only works if your message contains a clickable link
The subscriber must actually click the link for the listener to trigger
You can add multiple actions after Link Clicked (send message, add tag, add to Flow, etc.)
