Why Didn't My Campaign Reach Everyone?

Learn why SMS campaigns don't always reach every subscriber and how to improve your delivery rates.

If your TxtCart campaign didn't reach your entire segment, there are a few possible reasons. Here's a breakdown of what may have happened.

Delivery Challenges

It's normal for up to 10% of messages to fail to deliver due to common phone-related issues, such as phones that are powered off or roaming, disconnected numbers, landlines that cannot receive SMS, and numbers that are no longer in service.

Important Note: When a message fails to deliver (e.g, if the number is a landline or no longer in service), TxtCart automatically identifies and removes those subscribers from your SMS list. This keeps your list clean, protects your sender reputation by reducing the risk of your number being flagged as spam by carriers, and eliminates unnecessary charges from undeliverable messages.

Quiet Hours

If a campaign is sent during Quiet Hours, the system will not deliver messages immediately. Instead, it will wait until Quiet Hours are over before sending. By default, Quiet Hours run from 9:00 PM to 8:00 AM in each customer's local time zone, though these hours may vary depending on local regulations.
